Select a column, which should be used as Date for period analysis. Combo menu stores only parameters, which can be used as Date. If application cannot find time parameters, then combo menu will have “Do not use” value.
Set check “Do not use” if you do not need to analyze time periods.
Sum
Select a column, which must be used as Money for analysis. Combo menu stores only parameters, which can be used as Sum, these are all possible numerical or currency values. If application cannot find money parameters, then combo menu will have “Do not use” value.
Set check “Do not use” if Sum is not needed data for analysis. This is convenient for counts analysis when sums are not important.
Important: i f you analyze data where you do not need to analyze sums, please set check “Sum” -> ”Do not use”.
Important: if it is needed to analyze table where sum is important, but this sum is not money, for instance, if you need to analyze product weight – then select “Product weight” as “Sum” parameter.
Sum symbol
By default the currency symbol is used for sum. You can change it to any other, for instance: qty, mm, etc. Sum symbol is stored in project file .npt.
NeoNeuro Pivot Table can be used both for finance analysis and for analysis of any other table data.
Pay attention: howCalculated ratiosare changed depend on selected checks Time -> Do not use and Money -> Do not use.
Data grid shows all the source data. Application automatically selects the columns which worth-to-analyze and deselects the columns which can be omitted, for instance, if the column has only unique values like ID, Names or something. You can use check boxes to turn on or turn off the columns, also you can set them in “Select columns and grouping” tab.
